History

Cherry Valley Festival Days, Inc. was established in April, 1989 for the purpose of re-establishing a three day family festival to the Village of Cherry Valley, IL. The current festival committee is happy to be celebrating its 17th year with the 2005 Cherry Valley Days event.

Purpose

The current committee donates excess proceeds from each year's event toward improvements for the Cherry Valley Park System.

The Cherry Valley Festival Days, Inc. committee has purchased the following items during the past few years:

Park Benches
Water Fountain
Electrical Enhancements
Landscaping
Playground equipment for Butler Park and Fisher Park
Donated toward the purchase of playground equipment for Cherry Valley Grade School

In 2000 - The Village of Cherry Valley was able to order the new playground equipment installed at Fisher Park. Barring bad weather, we hope to make another contribution with the next event.

In 2005 - The Village Of Cherry Valley was able to order a new swing set for Butler Park.
